The
original vinyl
is deep green and is in solid condition.
The Blackwood frames have been restored.
Manufactured by renowned designer of the era, T H Brown who won a
prestigious design award in the late 60s, giving him the licence to
replicate Danish furniture by several of the Danish Designers e.g. Arne
Vodder , Kai Kristianson etc.
These are genuine 60s chairs and although replicas, they are not mass
produced foreign chairs, instead are equal quality to the originals they
copy.
The elegant, minimal line of this design is lightened by the 'floating'
seat.
THB stamped on
the underside.
Restoration has included the reglueing of joints and rejuvenating the
oil finish; resulting
in a glowing presentation.
The Upholstery and all of the Blackwood are original.
