It's
rare to find one of these old musician stools with the original lacquer
finish intact.
The
surprisingly heavy and very solid hardwood construction has aided the
survival of a lustrous, aged patina of cracked, honey
coloured lacquer that has the texture and glow of old, glossy leather.
Organically pleasing lines belie the ambitious dovetail joinery.
The Chinese wax imprint that is applied at export signifying antiquity
survives beneath.
A functional and elegant accent piece to grace modern or traditional
interiors.
