Yalti is a member of the small group who did not make contact with Europeans until late in 1984. 

This painting depicts the sand hills at the site of Yunpura, west of the Kiwirrkurra Country.  In the Dreaming story, this site depicts one of the ancestral women of the Napaltjarri kinship giving birth.
