Four T.H. Brown chairs are in
excellent order and very collectable.
Scandinavian style furniture earned
an international reputation in the fifties and sixties and influenced
world trends.
The elegant, minimal line of this design is lightened by the 'floating'
seat.
T. H. Brown manufactured a range of teak furniture in their factory in
South Australia in
the sixties.
These four chairs are part of that series.
Made in solid teak, the upholstery is in dark olive leatherette.
Piping sets off the upholstery along the crest.
THB stamped into the teak on
the underside.
Restoration has included the reglueing of joints and rejuvenating the
oil finish; resulting
in a glowing presentation.
The Upholstery and all of the teak are original.
